Our School

Elko High School was established more than 100 years ago as the first county public school in Nevada. From those humble beginnings, our school has grown and evolved into a community gathering place. EHS is a pillar of the community where dedicated, compassionate educators work to help all of our 1250 students achieve to the best of their ability.

Elko High School School Song

On ye Indians,
On ye Indians,
Fight for Elko High.
Gallant men in maroon and white,
All bound to do or die.

Rah! Rah! Rah!

On ye Indians,
On ye Indians,
Crown our school with fame.
Fight for old Elko High,
To win this game.

Words by Alan Thorpe
(To the tune of “On, Wisconsin!”)
