The Ward Coates Invitational track meet scheduled for March 21st has been changed to WENDOVER, UTAH. The field events start at noon PACIFIC time with the running events @ 1 pm PACIFIC time.

The History and Family Hunters Club has been diligently researching the history of old buildings in our town. They have been examining historical records and old newspapers. Their ultimate goal is to place QR codes at some of these sites, allowing visitors to scan the codes and access information about the history of the area.





The last Intramural Wrestling Meet was a tremendous success for our athletes. Camden G showcased impressive technique, while Dusty U exhibited great agility and strength. Brylee H demonstrated skill and determination, and Jesse P was a formidable competitor. Congratulations to all on a fantastic season filled with hard work and growth! We look forward to your future accomplishments!

Results and photos from the Virgin Valley High School track meet. We are excited to announce that the team will host the Ward Coates Memorial Invitational at Wendover, Utah high school on Friday, March 21st, at 12 pm PACIFIC time for field events and 1 pm for running events.


The Wells High School Track and Field team traveled to their first meet of the season at Virgin Valley High School over the weekend. They had a successful outing, with several athletes setting personal records in their events.

The baseball and softball games scheduled for this Saturday, March 15th, in Virginia City have been CANCELLED. The games will be rescheduled at a later date.

Wells Jr. Wrestling participated in the Nevada State Championships in Las Vegas last weekend. Joanna G. secured 2nd place, while RileyJo G. finished 6th in her bracket. Gus H. also placed 6th in the 8U boys' bracket. Quincy B. faced tough competition in a challenging bracket. Jackson G. achieved 5th place with a 2-2 record. Dallas P. concluded the season in 5th place after competing in a large bracket. Jed O. finished 5th in the state.
A huge shoutout goes to Richard Peltier and high school state champion wrestler Johnny G. for supporting the athletes!

Today, our talented Junior High and High School Choir, accompanied by Mr. Roberson, traveled to Elko for the much-anticipated Choir Festival.










The Career Fair was a great success, featuring over 30 vendors sharing career opportunities with our students and those from Jackpot and West Wendover. Attendees engaged with industry professionals, explored career paths, and learned about internships and job openings.










On Saturday, March 1st, our intramural wrestling team competed in Elko. Camden, Brylee, Jesse, and Dusty all took first place in their weight classes, showcasing their hard work and determination. RileyJo displayed impressive skill, finishing second after a tough match against Jesse. Overall, it was a day of intense competition.











Our softball team has been traveling to southern Nevada for games over the last two weekends. They beat Carlin 15-0 and Tonopah 23-2. However, they lost to Round Mountain 8-5, Laughlin 7-3, and Pahranagat Valley with scores of 20-5 and 10-8. Good luck this weekend in Virginia City. Go LEOPARDS!
